I need to vent.

this is totally a vent dramatic post and can be read kinda mean. I just have to get it out of my head... so dont read it if you hate venting. I havent vented for a long time on here!

Drama... quotes

this quote is my life right now.
We have had some friends that seriously make us feel like crap every time we leave from hanging out with them. We feel not good enough. We feel poor. We feel left out. We feel talked about. We feel like they are all just sooo negative and like its a competition between them. Oh my gosh, its just a joke. For my own mental health, its time to just leave all the people who make me unhappy!

Kev and I need to go through a friend 'clean up' session. Seriously. Have you ever been good friends with people and then all the sudden its just weird and you don't click anymore? Then they start talking behind your back but act like they didn't do anything when they see you? And have you ever heard the husband to be the one that starts all the drama? oh man. We have seen it all.

We seriously were talking in the car the other day about how we just could care less about some so called 'friends'.. That sounds so harsh... but how can you call people who are so completely rude behind your back your friends? The funny part is when they tell other people about it and then those people tell us, because they like us. oh my goodness. I thought highschool was over?

We are so blessed to have a ton of other friends that we love and dont have drama with!

I have just been so annoyed lately. Every corner Kevin and I turn we hear something new, or something is blown out of proportion and him and I just laugh- and really just have to say "seriously?" We have come to the conclusion that some people never grow up, and some people thrive on starting drama and thrive on living in the drama. I may be someone that is dramatic because of my personality but I really do not like to be part of it. This is when Kevin and I just pull away and find new friends.

It's time. Anyone else experienced this, when they were really close to someone and then you realize in the end that you are truly different than them and don't click anymore? Sometimes I am sad when that happens but this time, to be honest, I am not sad one bit. just a little mad at things said about him and I. You can talk all the crap you want about me, but if it involves my husband- its over.

Because life is too short to be anything but happy.

vent. over.

nothing important

I havent blogged much the last few months .

I feel as though I have nothing important to write.

I've had a million things on my mind but nothing I can put into words. But, I miss blogging, so I guess I will try to put something together. This post is a little bit of everything.

I have had a frustrating few months. I have had a sinus infection since the end of August. I might have even had it before then, but didn't know.. Because I have had the pressure and headaches for months. The doctor told me in Sep. that she didn't know how I was even breathing because of how inflamed my sinuses were. No wonder I always get headaches and migraines. She gave me some antibiodics but it didn't work... so we tried a stronger one.. and that didn't work either. Since we have already met our maximum out of pocket for the year the doctor suggested getting a CT scan since it would be free. So, I got one on Tuesday morning and am just waiting to hear results. I swear, every corner I turn I get sick or have some weird body problem. It's so frustrating. My poor husband. I originally went into the doctor because I was getting a lot of headaches again, and she looked in my nose and discovered my sinus infection. She said that was probably causing my headaches. Since I have had headaches since I was 16, I wonder if I have been having sinus infections all this time but not getting the other symptoms? It wasn't until I started the antibiotics that I started feeling sick with the runny nose and sore throat and cough- and thats probably because its all draining now. Weird.. Hopefully we can get this figured out.

My knee is starting to feel pretty good. I think I can start jogging now. I have knelt on it a few times, but only with the support of my hands too. I hope it continues to heal up great and that I can get back into working out full force. I have been doing some Zumba via youtube in my home and I love it! I can go at my own pace without feeling like a complete idiot.

My best friend is having a baby in 2 months! 2 months people! I cant wait for Ally to have her little Nixon! Hes gonna be my best buddy. I hope she will let me watch him. :) She has been decorating his room and its sooo cute. I love it. She decorates so cute all the time. She pretty much has all that she needs as far as the big stuff and as far as clothes because her sisters gave her tons of clothes.. so I honestly have no idea what to get her! Ideas?? She has a stroller, pack and play, crib, bedding, diapers, (I can get her more of those), clothes, carseat, bouncer, swing... whats an essential boy item or baby item? Oh, and she has a diaper bag too. Ally if you are reading this, what the heck do you want?! haha I gotta spoil my baby Nixon! I am excited to see what he looks like.

I got a new visiting teacher. Her name is sam. I love her soooo much. She has become one of my best friends too. Shes younger than me by a few years but I love her dearly and we get a long so well! She just cracks me up. I am grateful for people who care about me and for good friends. I have made a lot of new friends lately. I got invited to this facebook group for moms and because of that group I have met a lot of people! One of them is my friend Adrienne. She lives just a few blocks from me! She has two girls, and they are super cute. They love Mia, and Mia loves to be around other kids. We have fun together. She's a teacher and she is an amazing cook. She made me some yummy cupcakes the other day.. I about died and went to heaven when I took a bite!

I feel like Kev and I never see eachother. And we haven't been on a date without Mia in months. Dont get me wrong, I love her so much but sometimes, I wish Kev would just take me out like the old days! Tonight I was taking out the trash and saw my neighbor knocking on her door. I asked her if she got locked out and she said, "nope, just going on a date with my hubby! I'm knocking on the door!" I thought it was so cute, it reminded me of when we first got married and would go on dates all the time. I am ashamed to admit this but we havent been to the temple since the beginning of my pregnancy with Mia. That was like 16 months ago. I want our next date to be temple, and ice cream after. That would be perfect. And maybe even a little walk at the park or swinging or something... Who wants to babysit?? :)

Mia has returned to her happy self. Shes so funny. Her personality is so spicy  That girl, she just melts my heart! I have realized over the last 8 months that being a mother is truly what I was meant to do. I have been so so blessed to have been able to have Mia. Who knows if I will ever get to have another child? All I know is that she is here now, and I love her more than life itself.

My oldest nephew just left on his mission. I cant believe I have a nephew old enough to go on one!  He is off to Anaheim CA.  So proud of him!

I am in limbo with my Mary Kay stuff right now. I love the makeup and product, I love the training, I love the people I have met, and I love the money I have made. BUT, I hate the time you have to spend to make what you really want to make, and I hate trying to sell things to people. Thats just not my personality. I hate being away from Mia. Sometimes with all the things I am involved in I feel like I am not even a stay at home mom. I feel like I am too busy to enjoy things with her. I am always just on the go. I love doing hair, and I love doing respite care for Ammon because we can get out of the house and spend time with him (hes my favorite person) and I can take Mia with me. But with Mary Kay, I havent decided if it's worth it yet. I have made a lot of money and know I can make more, but that also comes with time. I just need to think about it longer. I have a MK conference on Saturday all day and maybe I will get the answer I need there.

Well, thats all thats new I guess. If you have ideas for me to blog about, please, do tell. Haha. Sorry if you were bored by this :) Just a plain ol update!

crafting, hangers, videos

this Mia girl is the cutest thing ever. I cant get enough of her! Her favorite toys seem to be hangers, and anything thats not really a toy. Haha.

We had a playdate at the park the other day with some ladies from a moms group I am a part of. these 3 girls are all within a month or two of eachother. Mia is 7 months, E (middle) is 5 months, and P is 8 months.

This is the new toy of choice too. Kevins snowball thrower. So funny to watch her fling it around.

I made this cute little bow this morning! Love it! Kevin said she looked like a grandma with her sweater today. haha.

this girl loves people food. more than milk. She eats baby food 2-3 times a day. We never eat more than 2 cans in one day though. We usually split it up between feedings.

I organized all my fabric, elastic, hairbows etc. in Mias room on the empty shelf in there this week. It feels good to have it organized!

I moved the sewing/craft desk into her room too so we could get Kevs bike into our room.

I have been crafting up a storm. Making tons of earrings!

Here are some Christmas bows I am making!

And, this little cheeseball. Gotta love her.

Mia's Birth Video (not graphic, I promise)

Last night I was watching snipits of Mias birth on our computer and I decided to make a little video out of it. This is my first time making/editing a video so dont judge too harshly. All that matters is that I have footage of my sweet baby girl when she was born, and that the birth is documented so I never forget how special it was. I loved my delivery!

There are a few parts in here where Mia is literally gray/purple because she isn't breathing. Every time I watch it I hold my breath.. I had no idea how much she was struggling because I was getting stitched up and cleaned up. All I know is that I only got to hold Mia for a few seconds before they took  her away, and that I wanted my little baby back! I was so relieved not to be pregnant anymore, but then felt weird not having her inside of me, for me to feel her kicking and moving all day. When they took her away I felt like a piece of me was gone. She had been with me for the last 9 months and then she was gone just like that! At least we got to visit her in the NICU. So grateful for that. And, so grateful for awesome doctors who took such good care of her, and that we got to take her home soon after.

I cant believe this was almost 8 months ago, it seems like it was just yesterday that she was born. You literally blink and weeks pass by. So grateful for this little cutie.

what we've been up to

we have been crazy busy the last few weeks!! Even though I am a stay at home mom I don't even feel like it! Mia sure does keep me busy and shes not even signed up for dance or singing or piano yet! ;)

This little stinker turned 7 months old on the 29th. She has changed SO much this last month.

Mia weighs 14.6 pounds
She is 27 inches long
She wears size 2 diapers
Her clothing is 0-3 for onesies and 3-6 for pants, her legs are soo long!
She takes 2-3 naps a day. Usually two of them are short 20 to 30 minute ones, and one is an hour and a half. That longer one just started this week.. lets hope it stays!
she has TWO teeth. They came in this last week and both came in within two days. can you say ornery baby?? haha.
Mia isnt quite crawling yet, but she does army crawl!
She rolls all over the place. I can NOT keep this girl still for a diaper change. It drives me nuts! Active little thing!
I have given her two haircuts now. Her hair is growing like a weed, although it is thin. Long and thin!
She loves to sit up.
Is pretty good in her carseat in the car now. No screaming anymore, YAY!
She eats 1 to 1.5 cans of 4 oz. baby food each day. So far nothing she wont eat.
She loves music, keys, blocks, chords, paper.. basically anything she can put in her mouth!
She loves to be outside and her FAVORITE Thing is the bath!
She says 'dadadada" and can WAVE hello! no joke! just started that this week too!

her smile melts my heart. My fussy baby is slowly turning into a happy baby. She is slowly growing out of her tummy issues and constant screaming. She smiles, and giggles, and grabs my nose, and plays with toys. She is so cute- her personality is so crazy! Shes so active and fun to be with. I am enjoying every minute of being a mommy!

I started doing respite care for my little brother Ammon, I go Monday, Wed, and Friday from 3-6. My parents needed someone to go help out with cathing and feeding and homework stuff and just someone to keep him company! I gladly get to do it and get to take Mia with me. We have a good time and I enjoy talking to him and being around him! He is a funny kid.

I have also been working my Mary Kay Business like crazy! I only need one more team member till I recieve my red jacket:: wahoo! I am determined to earn it by the end of this month!!

There is a mary Kay makeover contest going on right now- and its been fun for me to do faces and take before and afters! Here are 3 faces I have done in the last little while for the contest:

Oh and you know me, always gotta be busy, I added a hairbow business to my list of things to do. I have actually sold a LOT on there, so its been very worth it and fun! I love creating. Here are a few of the bows/headbands I have made:

It's called MiaBean's Boutique. Ive had a lot of sales so far! So fun.

Kevin is working so hard! We hardly see him, it makes me sad. :( He got a dollar raise at work, and he is getting A's in his classes right now! I am so proud of him! He also has been helping out with Mia a ton so I can get to run errands without her or do hair or etc. I love my man. Best.Husband.Ever. And best daddy too. Mia is attached to that man!

Well, thats what we have been up to! Off to bed now! zzzzz
