easy peasy homemade chicken pot pie

this last week I experimented with a classic recipe: the chicken pot pie. I like chicken pot pie but hate how you have to make the dough and cook some chicken and shred it... just too time consuming for me. So, here is my easy version of it!

you will need:
package of biscuits (Pillsbury or western family in the refrigerated area)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 package of chicken gravy (or you can make it from scratch)
2 cans of precooked and cut chicken chunks

here is what you do:
put the soup in the bottom of the pan first. Layer peas, carrots, and chicken on top. Sprinkle some salt, pepper, and a tiny bit of garlic if you want. Then, set biscuits on top. Probably only put 6 on top, and make sure they are a little spread out so they have room to rise in the oven and cook all the way through. Cook as biscuit can directs you to- then after it is done, pour your chicken gravy on top.

It's so easy, tastes good, and cooks fast. I think we had ours in the oven for like 25 mins.
