I know you told me not to, but I did anyway...

I chopped my hair! I seriously couldn't handle it one more day. Its REALLY short. The shortest I have ever had it. The back is a little too short for me but my back of my hair grows really fast. I love the front and sides, its soo cute. I think the next thing I want to do is go platinum blonde.. yea? So, here is what it looks like!

This was last night after I got it cut.

It seriously took me 2 minutes to do this morning. So wonderful.

remember this pillow? my first attempt at making one? I made it out of a tshirt.
After looking at it for a while, I decided I kinda didn't like it. So, I changed it up.

I kept the 3 rosettes in the middle but added a blue flower behind it since blue is our accent color in our room. All I did was take strips of fabric about 2 inches wide, sew a line down the middle of it, and gather it. I did about 8 strips, then put them together to make a flower. I only hot glued them on too. I think it looks better now!

And let me brag for a second.. :) I was looking at my ring the other day and realized I really like it! Haha! I love my ring sooo much.

No one else has it which makes me happy. At least, I don't think.. I've never seen anyone else have it.

I remember the day I Got engaged... it was amazing!

Here is me right after I got engaged. My face looks sooo skinny..

I love this picture.. my husbands so cute!

my friends were waiting for me at home after I got engaged :)

my little brother helped with the proposal. It was adorable. I loved that he was there!

anyway... just remembering good times :)

wreath makeover, meeting blog friends, and mountains.

Remember this wreath? I found it at D.I. It needed a makeover. I got it for $2. I was going to sell this one, but I don't think I can sell it, I love it way too much!!

So, I spray painted it white! I thought it might be a little boring, but I kind of like the way it turned out. I tied some tulle to it- white and pink. Cute! I really do like the way it turned out. The beads kind of look like they are cracking, but I couldn't help that.

What do you think?

Also, I have to give a shout out to my friend Dani! We met through blogging- and she contacted me and came in to get her hair cut! It was so fun to meet her, she is so sweet!!

Last but not lease, here is a photo of the mountains I see every single day! There is so much snow here in Utah on the mountains... so ridiculous. But I can't lie that it's the most beautiful thing ever!

That's just a small random post for today. Hope you all have a good day!

Service- Please share your stories!

Hey friends- I am a hostess for miss Rachel Fitzgerald this year for the miss Salem pageant. Her platform is centered on Service and we have set up a blog for her to share her stories of service she has experienced. We are looking for others to send her stories of service they have experienced.

PLEASE help her out and support her by following her blog at: and emailing her stories of service!

The stories can be as simple as someone letting you sit with them at lunch, or someone cleaning off the snow on your car. Please help us out and do this. It will not only benefit her, but it will benefit you because while writing it up for her, you will be reminded how great service makes you feel. I will be sending her many stories I have experienced and hope you will do the same.

Here are a few updates here in the Mohlman home:

Kevin applied for an internship at WW Clyde and we are hopeful that he will get it! We really REALLY hope he will get it. He needs to get the ball rolling on internships since he has a little less than 2 years left now. He is still working as a manager at CR Doors and Molding  and also working his butt off at school. He's getting really good grades and I am so proud of him!

I got asked to be a Hostess for miss Salem this year again and GUESS WHO I GOT??? I got Rachel Fitzgerald. For those of you who don't know, she is my sister Kaitlin's really good friend, and has danced at Lifehouse (the studio I work at) for 10 years so I have known her since she was really young! I was so happy to get her. Shes so beautiful and talented- just look at her picture! Her talent is Dance, she will be doing a contemporary point piece. She has a great platform and I really think she can win! She is from Elk Ridge as well so we know her family really well. I got lucky!

Beautiful Ballerina.. (I stole these pics from her facebook haha)

Our Salon also got pictures done. The owners hubby is the owner of the photog place next door, so he took them. This is just one he posted on facebook.

I also started counseling, I can't remember if I wrote about that or not yet. My counselor is awesome. I enjoy it so far, I have to go today again. I really think it's helping me. I have been trying to change my thoughts from negative sad ones to thoughts of gratitude and happy ones. It's hard to change the way I feel about myself or others but I know I can do it!

I know a lot of people don't like when I write about these personal things on my blog, but I really don't care. I think I have to be done caring what other people think about me. I used to care when I heard some gossip that someone started about me and my blog (trust me, it DOES get back to me, and it does happen frequently) but last night I kinda decided that I can't care anymore. I'm not going to lie about who I am or how I feel. I don't write about depression on here to get attention. I write about it on here so I can HELP others. I wish you could all read the emails I have gotten that say 'thank you for helping me see the light at the end of the tunnel' I write about it because I don't want to suffer it alone, I want people aware because if I did keep this all to myself, I think I would get so far down I would never be able to get back up again. It also helps me to open up and cope with my feelings if I am able to share them. Everyone suffers/copes differently. This is my way. I have to be done trying to get everyone to understand me. I know my heart and I know my intentions. They are good. As long as I know that, that's all I need to know. It's not a popularity contest- it's just me writing how I feel. I wish more bloggers wrote how they feel- but there are a few out there, like jessica from the lowe family news, or Ashley from little miss momma, even nienie does it. Oh, don't forget Kenna from Kenna and Josh. I am inspired by people who are who they are on their blogs. Like I always say, let's be real and not pretend our lives are always perfect, because chances are, they aren't.

But, I do want to say, I am very grateful for my life, my family, my husband especially, my religion, my friends, and many other things. I do believe I can work through this with the help of those around me. Thanks for all the continued love and support- it really does get me through the day! Hope you all have a great day today!

p.s. kev and I are going to the festival of colors tomorrow! wahooooooo!!

Should I cut my hair?

Ok people. My hair will NOT GROW. it's super damaged, and dry like straw. It's stuck at this length. Although I like it ok right now, it's hard to blow dry since it's so damaged. It takes me forever. I really need to give it a good cut and take a few inches off but I don't know what to do! You think me being the hair stylist should know what to do, but with my own hair, I never know. So, this is what it looks like now.

This is what it looks like long. Which is what I have been trying to do... but it's been 2 years now since I have cut it short and it's still just to the bottom of my chin!!! This pic below was taken in high school.

Here is what I am thinking of cutting it like. Only a tiny bit longer than this. What do you think?

I also likes my hair like this.

Here is the shortest I have ever been.. And, me as a brunette.. does anyone like me as a brunette? I need honest opinions! The bangs here are WAY Too short and funky, but you get the idea.

So, cut it, or no?

A FREE headband!

Fl(H)air accessories is amazing!

Something I forgot to mention in my last post was that Emma from Fl(H)air accessories will give a FREE headband away to anyone who goes to her shop and mentions me or the post I did about her. I think you have to make a purchase to get the free headband, but her stuff is reasonably in expensive and I think it's worth it!

just had to share the picture of her adorable rings... I need one...

My good friend Emma from sent me 2 CUSTOM made adorable headbands. I about died when I opened it! I couldn't wait to put them on.

They even came packaged adorable!

True love..

When she asked me what colors I wanted, I told her I wore a lot of pink, and she sent me this bedazzled beauty. I seriously wear it all the time.

AND- I love the black simple one she sent too. I can wear it with so many things. The best part is that I sometimes don't like to do my hair, so putting it in a pony has never looked so cute because I can accesorize (sp?) it with these cute headbands.
